ProofClock

Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 July 2026 · Last updated: 30 August 2026 (section 10 updated)

These Terms govern your use of ProofClock, a Ring Appstore application operated by Erbacci LLC (Wyoming, USA) (“we”, “us”). By linking ProofClock to your Ring account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

ProofClock derives proof-of-attendance from the motion-event timestamps of your existing Ring cameras. For each schedule you configure, it computes whether an expected visit occurred and produces a verdict (Verified, Short, No-show, or Unverifiable) and reports. ProofClock is metadata-only: it does not access video, images, or audio.

2. Eligibility

ProofClock is available to adults (18+). The ProofClock mobile apps are published worldwide on the App Store and Google Play; the Ring integration itself works wherever the Ring Appstore operates, so if the Ring Appstore is not available in your country you can install the app but will not be able to link a Ring account. You must have a Ring account and one or more compatible Ring cameras or doorbells.

3. Account linking & access

ProofClock works through Ring’s one-way account linking; you authorize the data it may access when you connect it. Sign-in is passwordless (a one-time code sent to your email). The account owner may invite additional team members with view or manager access; the owner is responsible for the people they invite. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure.

4. Workforce monitoring — your responsibility

Consent is your responsibility. If you use ProofClock to monitor employees, crews, or other individuals, you are solely responsible for providing any legally required notice and obtaining any required consent. You confirm this in-app. ProofClock must not be used for unlawful or covert surveillance.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: using it unlawfully; monitoring individuals without required notice/consent; attempting to access another customer’s data; or interfering with the service’s operation or security.

6. Not a security or life-safety system

ProofClock is an informational, convenience and record-keeping tool. It depends on your Ring cameras being online and correctly configured (motion recording and motion zones are managed in the Ring app). It is not a security, emergency, or life-safety system, and must not be relied upon as one. Verdicts are derived from motion metadata and may be incomplete if a camera is offline or misconfigured (shown as “Unverifiable”).

7. Your ProofClock plan

ProofClock is a third-party app on the Ring Appstore with its own plan, added and managed entirely by Ring (Ring app → Menu → My Apps → ProofClock, or account.ring.com → Integrations) and not by us directly. The terms of your plan, any changes to them, and cancellation are set and applied by Ring, and appear in the Ring app alongside your Ring Protect plan. ProofClock is a separate plan from Ring Protect — Ring Protect and Ring Protect Pro do not include it.

8. Intellectual property

ProofClock, its software, and its branding are owned by Erbacci LLC. Your data remains yours; you grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erbacci LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on a verdict; our total liability is limited to the amounts, if any, attributable to your ProofClock plan in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using ProofClock at any time. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) permanently deletes your ProofClock data; it does not by itself unlink the integration, so to stop ProofClock receiving new events from Ring, also remove ProofClock in the Ring app (Menu → My Apps → ProofClock). Unlinking there deletes your data as well. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or as required by Ring/Amazon policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Erbacci LLC’s operations, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction. Questions: info@erbacciltd.com.
